  • Length of bar: 2.1cm
  • Weight: 13.2g
  • Commentary:

This model took origin from an art-déco design. Originally the bar was extractable for a better comfort in wearing. Later the idea came up to change the detachable bar in gold with others of different materials, such as malachite, lapis lazuli and coral.
The lapidary work can be here considered as real tour-de-force. Every sapphire has been cut and calibrated for every position it is presumed to assume. The beautifully squared design and the original box, make this piece a very collectible item.

  • Remark: As it can be seen in the attached photo, Marlèle Dietrich was found of gentleman's accessories. Here, she's portrayed wearing a white suite with bar type cufflinks which are very similar to our example.
